iPhone 17 Display Size Revealed – Pro Max Screen to Stay Unchanged?

The hype around the new iPhone 17 is really going crazy now. Leaks are everywhere and people just can’t stop looking for more details. In a latest leak, it’s been said that the iPhone 17 series will come with new screen sizes for some models.
So, analyst Ross Young dropped some info saying the iPhone 17 will have a 6.27-inch display pretty much same size like the iPhone 16 Pro. Basically, the regular iPhone 17 is getting a little upgrade from the 6.12-inch screen earlier. Then there’s the iPhone 17 Air, which is suppose to have a 6.55 inch screen, the Pro will also be at 6.27 inch just like before, and the Pro Max stays the same at 6.86 inch no changes there.
Other than that, there’s not too many big changes expected with the iPhone 17 series this year. Some models might get a new horizontal camera layout, but the normal iPhone 17 camera probably still looks the same.
One good update though all the models are going to get 120Hz refresh rate now, which should make scrolling and stuff look super smooth. Also, the selfie cam will get a bump to 24MP, and the phones will be powered by the faster A19 chip.
Now the iPhone 17 Air is rumored to come with a 2800 mAh battery, and it’s gonna be in a aluminum body that’s just 5.5mm thick and weighs only 145 grams. But yeah, people are kinda freaking out about the battery part. Back in 2020, iPhones had more than 3000 mAh batteries, so this 2800 one seems like a downgrade.
Software Side
Apple says it’s gonna use AI to help the phone save power better. So, even with the smaller battery, the phone should last a full day cause of smart optimizations that learn how you use your phone.
Plus, another new leak says the battery inside uses silicon instead of regular graphite, which means Apple can stuff in more power in the same space — like around 15% more energy. That’s how they plan to give good battery backup even in such a thin phone.
